2:00: Local gardener Roger F. Anderson describes his 30 years developing peonies south of Fort Atkinson for cultivation around the world. Be on hand to hear how and why he named the many varieties he created.

1:00 - 4:00: Help us celebrate the first annual Governor Hoard Day. Activities include the dedication of a new long-term biographical exhibit devoted to Governor Hoard. Program begins at 2:30.

Saturday, April 9, 2011 Calling All Scholars: Basket Weaving
10:30 to noon: Artist Pam Talsky demonstrates basket weaving and includes some hands-on activities. Ms. Talsky wove two of the baskets on exhibit in the museum's new Mysteries of the Mounds Gallery. Families and students encouraged to attend. No charge.
